Butterfly facts:

They taste with their feet, they smell with antennas and legs.

Most live from two to three weeks.

They are able to see a spectrum of ultraviolet colors invisible to the human eye.

The female lay an average of 100 eggs.

They are the second pollinators after bees.

Jozani forest (the only protected national park on the island) is the home of the rare Red Colobus monkeys.
